Cardigan River & Food Festival

The vibrant Cardigan River & Food Festival on 18th August 2026, celebrating its 26th year of showcasing the best in local and Welsh food and drink. This lively event, organised by Menter Aberteifi, promises a delightful experience for both residents and visitors, attracting between 6,000 and 8,000 attendees each year.

Set in the heart of Cardigan at the Quay St car park, the festival features a bustling Food Court with a large marquee, street food stalls, and a stage hosting local musicians and performers throughout the day.

Visitors can explore a diverse Food Market filled with Welsh produce and crafts, while also enjoying engaging presentations and workshops suitable for all ages.

In addition to the culinary delights, the festival offers a range of activities on the River Teifi, including boat trips and demonstrations by the RNLI, along with paddle boarding and other water-based entertainment. It’s a fantastic opportunity to support local businesses and experience Cardigan’s welcoming atmosphere.
