Cardigan is an old market town in West Wales. It sits on the banks of the River Teifi. You can see the grand walls of Cardigan Castle in the town centre. This castle was the site of the first big Welsh music festival long ago. The narrow streets are full of local shops and a busy indoor market. You can walk the paths by the river to see the old stone bridge. The air is fresh and the views of the water are very pretty. Nearby, you can find the ruins of St Dogmaels Abbey. The town is a home for local art and history. Life here is calm and the people are kind. It is a fine place to visit.
