Green Man Festival 2026

Green Man Festival returns to the Glanusk Estate in the Brecon Beacons for three days of music, arts, comedy and culture from 20 to 23 August 2026. Set beneath the Black Mountains in one of the most dramatic landscapes in Wales, it’s an event that feels as much about place as it does about music.

Since its roots as a small folk gathering in 2003, Green Man has grown into one of Wales’s most beloved outdoor festivals — consistently praised for its relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere and the quality of its programming across multiple stages. 2026 marks the festival’s 20th anniversary, with a headline bill that spans folk, indie, electronica and everything in between.

Alongside the music you’ll find the Einstein’s Garden science area, a dedicated comedy programme, the Far Out stage for late-night electronic music, a cinema, independent food traders, and a real ale festival. Day tickets and weekend camping passes are available — book early as the festival regularly sells out.

The Glanusk Estate sits near Crickhowell in Powys, within the Brecon Beacons National Park. The nearest towns are Crickhowell (5 miles) and Abergavenny (10 miles), both with a good range of accommodation for those not camping on site.
