Llofft Storws is the largest of the Bronallt Barns, a characterful conversion of a former farm building set in open countryside near Valley on the Isle of Anglesey. Room for the Whole Party

There is plenty of space to spread out and come together. The ground floor has two comfortable lounges — one with a Freeview TV, the other opening through French doors onto the patio, and one with a feature stove — along with a well-equipped kitchen and dining room, a separate utility with a washing machine, and a light-filled conservatory whose long table seats the whole group, looking out over the fields. The five bedrooms sleep up to ten: a kingsize, two doubles and two twin rooms, three of them with their own en-suite, served by a family bathroom. Electric underfloor heating warms the ground floor, and Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included, with a travel cot and highchair on hand for little ones.

Private Hot Tub and Garden

Outside, a lawned garden with a patio and garden furniture is a fine spot to sit out on a summer evening, and the private hot tub is a lovely way to unwind after a day on the coast. There is private parking for up to four cars, and up to two dogs stay free of charge, so the whole family — pets included — can come along. The barn is no-smoking throughout.

This is a wonderful corner of Anglesey to explore: the island’s glorious beaches are within easy reach, with the nearest around four miles away, and the Anglesey Coastal Path offers superb cliff-top and shoreline walking. Birdwatchers will love the RSPB reserve and dramatic sea cliffs at South Stack, near Holyhead, while the port of Holyhead itself is handy for day trips across to Ireland. The mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) are a short drive over the Britannia Bridge for walking, climbing and the famous narrow-gauge railways.
