With a warming woodburner, a private hot tub looking out over the hills and sweeping countryside views, it is a real away-from-it-all retreat — right on the doorstep of the famous Elan Valley.

Characterful, Comfortable Living

The cottage has been finished to a high standard, blending original features with comfortable furnishings. The living room is a lovely spot to relax, with deep leather sofas, slate floors and a woodburner set in a handsome stone inglenook. The kitchen and dining room is built for sociable holidays, with an electric range cooker, dishwasher and a large dining table beside a big picture window that frames the countryside. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Biomass central heating (with underfloor heating on the ground floor), electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for the woodburner are all included.

Five En-Suite Bedrooms

All five bedrooms have their own en-suite facilities — a real luxury for a group. There is a flexible mix of king-size, double and twin beds, including a ground-floor double, with several rooms enjoying lovely views. The rooms are bright and comfortable, finished with smart modern shower rooms.

Outside, a large enclosed garden has a patio and terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue, and a private hot tub for six positioned to make the most of the glorious mountain views. There is a bike store and private parking for four cars. The cottage is no-smoking throughout, and up to two dogs are welcome (to be kept on a lead, as this is sheep country). Please note the property has a natural water supply from its own borehole.
