Mole End is one of six charming holiday cottages at Steppes Farm, Mole End cottage Monmouth is a superb self-catering cottage for cottage holidays for up to four guests, located at Rockfield in the Wye Valley.

This traditional stone cottage has been lovingly and sympathetically restored to provide a comfortable, contemporary space for families or friends. All accommodation is on the ground floor, making this rental particularly suitable for families with young children or those who may find stairs challenging.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. The spacious, modern bathroom had a bath with over-bath shower, and the kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The living room has a dining table and plenty of comfortable seating, along with a TV and DVD player, and a log burner, with logs available on site. Laundry facilities are available, and there is free WiFi.
Outside, there is a patio area where guests can relax and enjoy the gardens, and visitors are also welcome to explore the 4-acre grounds if they wish. There is plenty of parking space, close to the property.
One of the most exciting aspects of a stay at Steppes Farm is the chance to dine at the on-site restaurant and bar, The Stonemill. AA 2 rosette award winner, the restaurant offers a superb dining experience, with all vegetables grown on-site, and only the finest local meat, fish and produce used in the inventive and inspired menu.
Nestled in glorious countryside just three miles from the centre of Monmouth, Steppes Farm is ideally located for visitors wishing to explore the stunning Wye Valley. Outdoor enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice, with opportunities for hiking, watersports, horse riding, cycling, and top-class golf all close by. The historic towns of Monmouth and Hereford are waiting to be discovered, and Tintern Abbey, Chepstow Castle, and Dewstow Gardens all make fascinating and enjoyable days out. Indeed, all along the border with England, there are castles and historic sites to be found, standing imposingly in the green and majestic landscape.
