Tintern Abbey Holiday Cottage Sleeping 6 in three bedrooms

The Self Catering cottage was totally renovated during 2009 to a luxury standard. It gained its five star award plus Walkers and Cyclists awards from a Visit wales inspector on 19 November 2009.

The cottage originates from the 18th century, Tintern Abbey Cottage is cute and smartly contemporary and decidedly comfortable. Right across the road from the famous roofless Abbey, of which it has glorious panoramic views. the photos show how amazingly close we are to it!

The cottage directly adjoins the Wye Valley Walk, in the heart of this ancient conservation area of Tintern. There are several pubs a couple of small cafes and three hotels in easy strolling distance, all offering food and several offering local produce.

While you are here don't forget to visit the villages prizewinning vineyard! Also in the village are small shops and a craft centre.

The bus stops at the bottom of our drive so you can if you wish, walk along the wonderful Wye Valley or visit Chepstow Castle or Racecourse and get a bus back.

The Holiday cottage sleeps 6 and has three bedrooms with superking ( 6feet wide) beds which can become twins on request, two bathrooms with baths and showers, a whirlpool in one, a woodburner, fenced garden with furniture, parking.

The cottage has all top of the range equipment from five flatsceen TV's and Wifi to a fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons and a range cooker. A very full inventory including many extras, and basics like excellent insulation, double glazing, and a green central heating system.
