Castle Lodge Hotel is conveniently situated next to the meandering River Wye, in the picturesque market town of Ross on Wye.
The hotel boasts ten charming guest rooms, two restaurants, a traditional english bar and a relaxing residents lounge.

Each room bears the name of of of the many local castles which, in medieval times, were the hubs of their community life, governance and commerce.

The George Dolby Suite
The George Dolby Suite is inspired by the residency of the late George Dolby, Charles Dickens former reader and close personal friend. Dickens visited Dolby (formerly Wilton Manor )on the weekend of the 24th Jan 1869 and presented his hosts daughter with a pony. The George Dolby suite is an ideal venue for small conferences and intimate dinners and private parties.
The Lodge bar offers the warm and informal atmosphere that people associate with a traditional English country pub.
The Castle Lodge is an old Georgian country manor house located next to the River Wye at Wilton which is near Ross-on-Wye at the foot of the M50 motorway in the Wye Valley AONB (area of outstanding natural beauty).
