It is a prime choice for a low cost walk by the sea. Above the town sits Carningli Mountain. You can hike the path to the top to see the hill fort. The air is fresh and the views of the bay are clear. Newport Sands has a wide beach with soft sand for a long stroll. This spot has deep roots in the age of the Celts. The streets have local shops and stone walls. Life here is calm and moves with the tide.
