Laugharne sits on the bank of the Taf. It is a place of words and water. My top tip is the Writing Shed. This is where Dylan Thomas wrote his poems. You can look through the glass to see his old desk. The town has a grand stone castle. It looks over the salt marshes and mud. You can walk the path to the Boathouse for a small fee. This walk gives you great views of the sea. For a low cost day, stroll the streets to see the bright houses. The tide moves in and out with a soft sound. This spot has a deep sense of the past. It is a true Welsh find.
