Horton is a real find on the south coast of the Gower. My top tip is the beach. It is a wide bay with soft sand and big dunes. At low tide, you can walk to Port Eynon. The air is fresh and the sea is very blue. You can see the green cliffs meet the sky. The village is small and has stone walls. It is a prime choice for a low cost walk by the waves. You will find many sea birds on the rocks. Life here is very slow and quiet. To find the best views, head for the coast path. It is a fine spot for a break in the wild.
