Criccieth is a bright seaside town in North Wales. A grey stone castle sits high on a rocky headland between two bays. This old fort looks over the blue sea of Cardigan Bay. You can walk on the stony Marine Beach or the soft sand. The town has wide streets and many tall Victorian houses. Many people stop for a local ice cream on the front. You can see the dark peaks of Snowdonia in the far distance. The air is fresh and the birds sing by the waves. Life here moves with the tide and the summer sun. It is a quiet place with a very long history. The green hills meet the sea in a pretty way.
