Hill House sleeping 4 offers spectacular triple aspect views overlooking the Bristol Channel to Ilfracombe and North Devon, along the Gower Peninsula to Oxwich Point and beyond Swansea Bay towards St. Donats. Ideally situated for cliff path and coastal walks, Limeslade Bay and Bracelet Bay, Mumbles seafront promenade, the pier, Mumbles village shops, and restaurants.
This peacefully located, book-filled apartment offers excellent accommodation for 4 people. Furnished and decorated to a very high standard. Fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric fan oven, toaster, glass hob, coffee percolator, radio, etc. Next is a dining area with table and four upholstered chairs. Colour television with digital Freeview channels, DVD player, VHS recorder and c.d. player are provided in the relaxing lounge. A shower room with wash basin and w.c. is ensuite to the double bedroom. There is a twin bedroom with a separate bathroom with bath, wash basin and w.c. We provide duvets, pillows, bedspreads and all bed linen on our beds along with 1 bath and 1 hand towel per person and kitchen tea towels. Large first-floor terrace with outdoor seating. Garden woodland trail with picnic area. Ample parking.
In 1991 the Mumbles Hill was designated a Local Nature Reserve to protect its wealth of wildlife such as badgers, squirrels, rabbits, and foxes and to allow more people to enjoy the area. Located in the old part of the village with the original fisherman's cottages found on its lower slopes.
Although not vast in size, the reserve has a range of natural habitats including grassland, maritime, health, limestone, scrub and woodland. Resident bird species such as skylark, green woodpecker and jay are regularly seen. While its migratory birds include house martins, garden warblers, and swallows.
After a visit to The Mumbles, you'll realise why it has a reputation as a friendly, casual and relaxed area. Our spectacular scenery, wonderful sandy beaches, and cliff path walks are timeless.
