Cilhendre Fawr Farm Cottages at Pontardawe South Wales are three 4 star accredited magnificencent self-catering cottages located in the stunning hills behind Swansea close to Neath in South Wales.

The South Wales holiday cottages are situated on a non-working farm position in the heart of a woodland trust near Swansea and Neath Port Talbot. The location offers the most impressive views of the surrounding countryside and the Swansea Valley.

The cottages have been renovated to an extremely high standard and feature numerous original barn features including beams and inglenook fireplaces with logs supplied during the colder months. The Cottages all have a fully equipped kitchen, traditional wood burning stove, widescreen television and gas central heating.

All Cottages can accommodate up to six people in three bedrooms. The Cottages can be hired together to house up to 18 people. The Cottages benefit from beautiful views over the surrounding Tawe valley and fields. Please note cottage 3 has facilities for the disabled.

Cilhendre Cottages are perfectly situated for visiting the various popular attractions in South Wales such as Swansea, the Brecon Beacons, the mountain biking centre at Afan Argoed, Aberdulais Waterfalls and the gorgeous continuous beaches at the Gower.

Furthermore visitors can also enjoy the peaceful, comfortable environment to relax or chose from a number of local activities including walking, fishing, mountain biking, bird watching, cycling, horse riding and surfing.

The South Wales Cottages are ideal for Guests who wish to visit the renowned Afan Forest Park (also called Afan Argoed). Storage for mountain bikes, a laundry room and drying facilities are available. There are also facilities for washing equipment such as mountain bikes.

Please note: sorry no pets are allowed but there are stables available for guests who would like to bring their horses.
