Cwm Yr Afon Mawr is an idyllic holiday cottage located on the outskirts of Llanbedr, near Harlech, in the Snowdonia National Park.

Step into the spacious reception hall, where you can kick off your boots and coats and step into the open-plan kitchen. It has a range of white fitted units and sleek black worktops, with a range of appliances to suit your needs. Offering an attractive slate flooring. With a dining area for six people, the perfect spot to dine together as a family.
Step into the cosy sitting room, which is a welcoming space for you to relax and unwind after a long day. With two sofas, situated around the large, stone inglenook fireplace with a woodburning stove. Follow the magnificent 500-year-old, original stone staircase up to the first floor. Housing three spacious bedrooms; one double with an en-suite shower room, one double and one twin, with a separate family bathroom. Choose from an elegant bath and a separate shower cubicle to prepare for your day in style.
The bedrooms are amply equipped with a range of wooden furniture, with two of the bedrooms boasting wonderful vaulted ceilings, and the twin a feature cast iron fireplace - giving this property so much character you won't want to leave this picturesque setting.
To the front of the property is an enclosed lawned garden and patio area with a table and chairs provided. Sit out and enjoy the glorious country views with a refreshing glass of wine. There is off-road parking available for several cars directly outside the property. Nearby attractions include Harlech Castle, a historic castle that was completed in 1290.
It boasts a stone wall surrounding the castle, which acted as a defense wall. With stunning views across the countryside, and a lovely piece of historical architecture. Cwm Yr Afon Mawr is the ultimate location for friends and families to relax and unwind.
Llanbedr is a village in Gwynedd, Wales. The village originally grew around the slate quarrying industry. Boasting many local attractions including the Neolithic standing stones, Stone of Llanbedr, and Bronze Age hut circles. It is situated near the coast and has access to many picturesque beaches along the way.
