Relax in this quiet seaside home with two bedroom. Talarfor self catering cottage is situated in a stunning situation between mountains and sea. Your quiet cottage is one mile outside the traditional seaside town and blue flag beach of Barmouth on the North West coast of Wales. Approached via a steep, narrow access only lane with the true benefits of parking outside your door and a private patio. You will be ideally placed for beach or sight-seeing holidays, the perfect setting to relax and unwind for young and old alike. Children and dog owners can explore the beach on their doorstep, adults have the major attractions of beautiful Snowdonia within easy reach.
Mountains and markets, fishing and farming, porpoises and pubs, seaside, slate mines, castles and kites - something for everyone. North Wales is an area of myth and history with majestic mountains and an impressive coastline. Try them all or just relax and do nothing!
Talarfor is a 4 star ground floor holiday home - a true home from home. Well equipped with everything you might need to enjoy your holiday in Wales. This is a stunning area of natural beauty with coastline, mountains and forests. It is suitable for busy families with young children, as a touring base, or for visitors who want peace and quiet.

Talarfor sleeps 4 people comfortably in two bedrooms and is well equipped with everything you might need to enjoy your holiday including: cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge-freezer for the kitchen, a large TV in the living room, DVD, iPod docking station, books and DVDs and a CD/radio. The living room is spacious with just the best garden and beach views via the patio doors. Relax and enjoy meals on the patio outside and the sound of the sea greeting you as you open the doors. Alternately stroll two minutes down the lane and drink your coffee (or wine) on the beach!
Bedroom one is a large room with a double bed with feather quilt and a single bed. Hairdryer and ironing facilities are included. The second bedroom is small with a single bed. All linen is supplied and beds made up ready for you. Hand towels and bath sheets are ready for each guest. The swish new bathroom has an electric shower (large) and a safety grip handle for you to use.
There is plenty of hot water, central heating for the colder months and extra electric fires. Depending on the weather the heating will be on twice a day, any extra hours can be arranged with the owner but there will be a charge for this. £10.00 electric is included in the cost for the week, you may need coins for further electric used. Sometimes accidents happen, however any damage or breakages will be charged for at full replacement costs.
There is free car parking outside your door which is a real bonus. Couples with a dog are welcome - there will be a returnable cleaning deposit of £30. This is returned when the flat is left with no dog hairs or damage, please note any damage will be charged for. Sorry but I am unable to accept a family group (children) with pet. Totally non-smoking inside, this accommodation is owner supervised to ensure high standards. Rustic steps into the garden may need supervision for the less mobile.
Visitors are able to book Saturday to Saturday during the summer season, or for short breaks by arrangement over the winter. The owner is happy to answer any questions you may have.

By Car: Situated off the A496.
After leaving Barmouth towards Harlech go past the Ty'r Craig Castle Hotel and the Hendre Mynach Camp site on the left. Look for the lay-by with phone box.
Travel for approx 200 yards.
Talarfor is clearly visible on the left and approached via a narrow 'access only' lane down towards the sea.
By Bus: Take the number 38 bus from Barmouth. Ask for Fronoleu terrace bus stop.
By Train: Take the Cambrian Coastline train to Barmouth station. We are exactly a mile away along the promenade and there are usually cabs available.
By Plane: Nearest airports - Liverpool or Manchester approx 2 hours drive away.
