The cottage is set next to the owners home and flaunts an enclosed garden. The garden is the perfect relaxing spot in good weather and also makes an excellent playground for children. There is a patio with a decked area ideal for outdoor dining. For tasty home-cooked meals, the gas barbeque is perfect for creating meals everyone will remember. It is a great place to make amazing meals during the summer as you enjoy the fresh air outdoors. There is off-road parking space where you can comfortably park your car during your stay. A shower room is also located on the ground floor. The cottages first floor comprises of two bedrooms; a double room and a twin room with beamed ceilings.
Gwynedd offers a wealth of activities for the young and the old. The picturesque waymarked footpaths and cycling routes are ideal for those who want to explore the lovely countryside. Ffestiniog railway, located in Porthmadog is only seven miles away and a major tourist attraction. Visit the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum which houses more than 1000 items that have been collected from different narrow gauge railways in Wales, the Isle of Man, England, Scotland, and Ireland. For an exciting adventure, take a trip aboard the Snowdon Mountain Railway which offers spectacular journeys to the summit.
The lovely town of Criccieth is located only six miles away from Bwthyn Ael Y Bryn. Gorgeous sandy beaches that are ideal for swimming and relaxing can be found along the shores of this town. If you want to have a fun-filled day, indulge in any of the various water sports available. A magnificent medieval castle is also located in Criccieth. The castle is set high on a headland and commands stunning views from all angles. On a clear day, visitors can see the form of Harlech Castle rising out across the waters. Criccieth's promenade is excellent for walking and provides a great way to breathe in the lovely fresh air, stretch your legs, and get some exercise. Visit Caernarfon to see the Segontium Roman Museum, an ancient Roman fort built to hold approximately a thousand auxiliary infantry at a time. If you fancy a game of golf, many excellent golf courses are located nearby for your convenience. If you're not up to cooking, visit the local pub for some excellent meals. The pub is located only 100 yards from Bwthyn Ael Y Bryn and the local shop is about 2 miles away.
