Pen-y-Garth Holiday Lodges - Bala
If you're visiting North Wales and looking for first-class accommodation, check out Pen-Y-Garth Park. It is excellently positioned in a beautiful and serene location. The holiday lodges are within easy reach of Bala Lake and a mile from Bala town and occupy 24 acres of parkland. The picturesque park is landscaped and dotted with gorgeous trees and vegetation. Each lodge rests on a generous plot and offers ample privacy.
Quiet and peaceful.
Pen-Y-Garth is very popular and most of its lodges have occupants all year round. It has a launderette, a children's play area, and a games room. If you love activities that give you an adrenaline rush, head over to Bala Lake and sample the watersports on offer. If getting wet isn't your cup of tea, try rambling on the nature trails or cycling. Board a train on the popular Ffestiniog Railway or visit Caernarfon Castle and admire its architecture.
The Park offers nine different types of accommodation in a stunning setting. It has lodges, holiday homes, and a two-story manor house. Some of the holiday properties are equipped with outdoor hot tubs to enhance your holiday experience (Pen-y-Garth Manor, Buttercup 4, Buttercup 6, Foxglove 4, and Foxglove 6). All properties have luxurious trimmings and furnished exterior spaces where you can enjoy lovely views of the surrounding area.
Bala is an idyllic getaway for couples, families, and groups looking to make the most of all the Lake has to offer. Whether you want a restful break or an action-packed holiday, the lodges are perfect. They are equipped with everything you need for a memorable holiday. Some of their amenities include:
Shower and/or bath
Electricity (included in the fee)
Cots and highchairs (for 15 per week)
The lodges are non-smoking and restrictions may apply to group bookings.
Activities and Attractions
If fun and adventure are what you're after, you'll be blown away by the attractions and activities in this area. There are fast flowing streams, mountains as high as 3,000 feet, thick forests, numerous lakes, and meandering rivers. The mountains are less crowded than those found in other regions of Snowdonia which means you can maximize your mountain experience. Many activities are offered at Bala Lake and the nearby lakes including kayaking, abseiling, sailing, surfing, wake-boarding, windsurfing, power boating, and whitewater rafting. You can also try your hand at archery, gorge walking, and hill walking.
The town of Bala is close by and is located in a rural area with strong traditions founded on Welsh culture and language. It has all the essential facilities you'll need during your stays such as supermarkets, banks, eateries, a post office, and shops selling local produce. The eateries serve both Welsh and international dishes.
