Knocked through from a row of old quarrymen’s cottages, Whitewalls has been refurbished in keeping with its origins, keeping the exposed stonework and beams that give it so much character. A wood burner warms the living room, and there is a large playroom with a pool and table tennis table, games and a games console — a real winner with families. Outside, a large lawned garden has outdoor play equipment, and a stone terrace is set up for barbecues.
