Every room at Valley Manor has its own personality, from a richly decorated dining room with a chandelier and a long table for the whole party, to a sunny yellow drawing room, a striped library with a drinks bar and portraits, and a snug media room set up for film nights. Antique furniture, open fires and beautiful hand-chosen wallpapers give the house an unmistakable sense of history and luxury, while everything you need for a relaxed self-catering stay is on hand. Electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, along with a dishwasher, washing machine and an electric-vehicle charging point.

Seven Luxury Suites and Eight Bathrooms

The seven suites are each beautifully individual — expect grand four-poster and statement beds, bold designer wallpapers and a wonderful collection of freestanding and roll-top baths, with eight bathrooms in total so there is never a queue. A cot and highchair are available for younger guests. With room for sixteen, there is space for everyone to spread out by day and gather together by night.

Outside, the estate is every bit as memorable as the house. Sweeping lawns roll down towards the coast, with a walled garden, a kitchen garden, rookery woodland and a charming folly to discover, and far-reaching views of the sea beyond. There is on-site parking, a garden and patio for warm afternoons, and up to two dogs are welcome (charges apply). The house is no-smoking throughout, and please note there is a refundable security deposit.
