Llandeilo and the Towy Valley

Dinefwr sits on the far side of the river, a National Trust park with a ruined castle on a bluff and a herd of white park cattle that have been there for centuries. Carreg Cennen, the most dramatic castle in Wales on its limestone crag, is fifteen minutes south-east. The National Botanic Garden of Wales, with the largest single-span glasshouse in the world, is twenty minutes west. Aberglasney’s gardens are closer still.
