Grand, Characterful Living

The first-floor open-plan living space is spectacular, with intricate decorative ceilings, bold colours, a wrought-iron spiral staircase and a long dining table seating the whole party. The living area has a woodburner set in a magnificent carved fireplace and a Freeview TV, while the kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, along with the initial fuel for the wood burner.

Five Characterful Bedrooms

The five bedrooms are full of personality, with Gothic-arched and pew-end beds, exposed stone walls and that wonderful round chapel window in one room. There are kingsize and twin rooms across the first and second floors — one with a single bed as well, and one with an en-suite — comfortably sleeping eleven, with two bathrooms (one en-suite). It is a building that genuinely surprises and delights at every turn.

The Auction House sits within easy walking distance of the beach and Criccieth’s welcoming pubs and eateries. There is an enclosed front garden with a sitting-out area, private parking for four cars, and on-road parking too. Please note there are steps up to the entrance, and the building is no-smoking throughout. Up to two dogs stay free.
