The living and dining room is flooded with daylight from large windows that look out over the Conwy Valley, and although the cottage is within walking distance of the village centre it enjoys a quiet, secluded setting. With walks straight into the Gwydir Forest and around Llyn Elsi from the doorstep, it is a lovely self-catering base for a couple exploring Snowdonia.

Light, comfortable living space

The cottage has one bedroom with a kingsize bed and sleeps two, with two bathrooms — a shower room with a cubicle shower and a bathroom with a bath and shower attachment. The bright open living and dining room is the heart of the home, with those big windows framing the valley views. There is gas central heating throughout, a 42-inch Freeview television, a DVD player and a CD player, and free Wi-Fi, so it is just as easy to settle in for a cosy evening as it is to head out walking.

A well-equipped kitchen and a private garden

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave and a fridge, and there is a washing machine for longer stays. Outside, the cottage has its own private garden and a patio with furniture — a sheltered, sunny spot to relax after a day in the hills.
