The Cottage

The heart of Seaborne is a spacious, L-shaped open-plan kitchen, dining and living area — a light and sociable space to cook, eat and relax, with sliding patio doors leading out to the enclosed garden. The living area has comfortable leather sofas, a Freeview TV and a stylish electric stove, while the well-equipped kitchen has a split-level electric oven and hob, a fridge freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave, with tasteful coastal touches throughout. There is also a good-sized utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Electric underfloor heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, along with a travel cot and highchair for younger guests.

Seaborne sleeps four in two bedrooms. On the ground floor is a twin bedroom with its own adjacent shower room, ideal for children or for anyone who would rather avoid the stairs. Pwllheli and the Llŷn

Pwllheli is the main town of the Llŷn Peninsula, a popular and characterful seaside town with a good range of independent shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants, a bustling harbour and the large Hafan Pwllheli marina. The town has its own long sandy beach, and the surrounding coast is a string of beautiful bays and beaches — from the sailing haven of Abersoch to the surf at Hell’s Mouth (Porth Neigwl) and the quiet coves near Aberdaron at the very tip of the peninsula. The Wales Coast Path traces the whole shoreline, offering superb walking with the sea on one side and the hills of the Llŷn on the other.

The Llŷn is a wonderful place to explore. Take the little boat trip out to Bardsey Island, the ancient ‘Island of 20,000 Saints’, climb the twin peaks of Yr Eifl, or simply enjoy the beaches and clifftop paths. Historic Criccieth, with its castle above the sea, and the colourful Italianate village of Portmeirion are both a short drive away, as are the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia). Back at Seaborne, the enclosed garden and picnic bench are the perfect place to enjoy an evening drink and watch the sun go down over the bay.
