Above seven miles of flat sand
Pendine Sands Holiday Park sits above the beach at Pendine. The sands run for about seven miles and are famously flat and hard — hard enough that Malcolm Campbell set the land speed record here in 1924, and hard enough that people still drive down onto them on permitted days.
