Meadow Croft is a beautifully furnished, dog-friendly holiday cottage peacefully set in two acres of lawned gardens at Llangeinor, near Bridgend, in the rolling hills above the Vale of Glamorgan. One of The Crofters Cottages and attached to the owners’ 17th-century home, it sleeps up to six across three bedrooms and enjoys its own terrace with spectacular countryside views. With excellent walks straight from the back door, easy reach of Cardiff and the Gower coast, and a warm welcome for the dog, it is a wonderful base for an active South Wales break.

Comfortable, Characterful Living

Inside, the cottage has a lovely open-plan living space with exposed beams, a characterful brick fireplace and French doors leading out to the patio. There are comfortable sofas and a dining table for everyone, and a well-equipped kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, with Freeview TV in the living area.

Three Bedrooms and Far-Reaching Views

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor — a double and a twin — with a family bathroom, making the layout easy for those who prefer to avoid stairs. Upstairs, a lovely king-size room has its own en-suite, a Freeview TV and French doors opening onto a Juliet balcony with truly spectacular views over the valley and hills. Waking up to that view, with sheep grazing the slopes below, is one of the real joys of staying here.

Two Acres of Gardens and Great Walks

Outside, the cottage shares two acres of colourful lawned gardens with a summerhouse, and has its own terrace and a pretty courtyard to the front. Excellent walks lead straight from the back door into the surrounding hills. There is private parking for one car, the cottage is no-smoking, and up to one dog stays free. Please note the property has a natural spring water supply.
