The cottages sit at Capel Garmon, in the quiet hills a few minutes from Betws-y-Coed, the popular gateway village to Snowdonia where the Conwy, Llugwy and Lledr rivers meet amid forest and mountains. From here the whole national park opens up: the spectacular Swallow Falls and the curious Ugly House (Tŷ Hyll) are close by, Capel Curig and the high peaks lie to the west, and Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) itself is around 14 miles away.
