Conwy Valley Cottages are a charming collection of self-catering holiday cottages set on a peaceful working farm in the beautiful Conwy Valley, near Tyn-y-Groes and the pretty village of Rowen. Sleeping up to around twenty-eight in total when booked together, they are perfect for large family gatherings and group celebrations in the green foothills of Snowdonia.
Farm cottages in the heart of the Conwy Valley
Converted from traditional farm buildings, the cottages have a real sense of history and character. There are several to choose from, ranging from two to three bedrooms and sleeping between four and seven guests each, so you can take a single cottage for a smaller break or book a group of them together for a big family get-together. Set around a quiet working farm in a lovely valley, they offer peace, space and wonderful countryside on the doorstep.
Comfortable and well equipped
Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a private bathroom and a washing machine, with free WiFi and free on-site parking throughout. There is a shared games room for rainy days, barbecue facilities for sunny evenings, and bike parking and hire available for exploring the valley. Please note one of the two-bedroom cottages is not suitable for children, and the cottages do not accept pets.

Where it is
The cottages sit in the Conwy Valley near Tyn-y-Groes and Rowen, one of the prettiest villages in North Wales, in the foothills of Snowdonia. It is a tranquil, rural setting, yet within easy reach of the coast and the mountains alike. You can browse more places to stay across the area on our North Wales Coast accommodation page.
Things to do nearby
This is a brilliant base for exploring North Wales. The world-famous Bodnant Garden, with its terraces, woodland and laburnum arch, is under four miles away, and the medieval walled town of Conwy, with its mighty castle and the smallest house in Britain, is a short drive. The seaside resort of Llandudno, with its Victorian pier and the Great Orme, is close by, while the mountains, lakes and trails of Snowdonia rise just to the south for walking and adventure days out.
Who it suits
With cottages of different sizes and room for a big group when booked together, Conwy Valley Cottages are ideal for large family gatherings, reunions and celebrations, as well as smaller family breaks in a single cottage. The peaceful farm setting and games room make them especially good for families wanting space and somewhere relaxed for children to play.
Good to know
Because the cottages can be booked individually or together, the site suits everything from a couple or small family to a gathering of up to around twenty-eight. There is no hot tub or pool, but the games room, gardens and farm setting keep families happy whatever the weather. Note that pets are not accepted and one cottage cannot take children, so it is worth checking the right cottage for your party when booking.
