A spacious farmhouse for 10 near Pwllheli, with a private hot tub
Congl Cae is a characterful farmhouse set in open countryside near Pwllheli, on the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales. Sleeping ten across a main house and a separate annexe, with a hot tub on the terrace, a games room and parking for several cars (and even a boat), it makes an ideal base for a large family, a group of friends, or two families holidaying together. Up to two dogs are welcome too, so the whole family can come.
Inside the farmhouse
The heart of the home is a bright, open-plan living space. The kitchen is genuinely well equipped for self-catering — double electric ovens, a hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher — and opens onto a dining area that seats ten, so everyone can eat together. The sitting area has a Smart TV and a woodburning stove (with a starter pack included) for cosy evenings, and there is a handy ground-floor shower room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The main house has four bedrooms: a king-size with its own Smart TV and en-suite shower room, a second king-size with an en-suite, a further king-size, and a children’s bunk room, all served by a family bathroom. A travel cot and highchair are provided, so it works well for little ones too.
The annexe and outside
A separate annexe gives the group room to spread out, with a games room — Smart TV, Xbox and a pool table — and a mezzanine double bedroom above with a sofa bed and its own en-suite. Outdoors there is a front lawn with furniture, a side patio with a barbecue, and a side terrace with the hot tub, plus private parking for up to five cars and space for a boat. WiFi, fuel, power, books, games and hairdryers are all included in the rent.

From here the whole peninsula is within easy reach — the sailing and surf beaches at Abersoch, the castle and beach at Criccieth, the National Trust cove of Porthdinllaen with its beachside Tŷ Coch Inn, and the wild scenery around Aberdaron and Bardsey Island, with the Wales Coast Path threading along the cliffs the whole way round.
