Bodelwyddan sits just off the A55 between St Asaph and Abergele, so it is an easy run from Chester and the border. The marble church at Bodelwyddan, with its white limestone spire, is a few minutes’ walk and worth the detour. Rhyl and the coast are about ten minutes north, and the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape starts a short drive south.
