A Farm Barn Conversion near Haverfordwest
Barn Cottage is a comfortable barn conversion on a working dairy farm near Haverfordwest, in the heart of Pembrokeshire. One of two semi-detached cottages at Lower Haythog Farm, about four miles from the county town, it sleeps six and makes a peaceful, central base for families or groups wanting to explore Pembrokeshire’s famous coast, beaches and countryside.
The cottage
The cottage has three bedrooms sleeping up to six: a ground-floor double, plus two first-floor rooms (a double with a TV and a twin), with washbasins in both upstairs bedrooms. There are two bathrooms — an upstairs bathroom with a bath, and a ground-floor shower room — so there is no morning queue. The fitted kitchen and dining area is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher.
Warmth comes from oil central heating plus a woodburner in the sitting room (fuel and a starter pack are included), and there are two televisions (one with Freeview), a DVD player and Wi-Fi. Outside, there is a shared lawned garden with furniture, benches and a gazebo, and off-road parking for two cars. A washing machine, cot and highchair are available, and bed linen and towels are included. Please note the cottage is non-smoking and does not accept pets.
