The cottage has bags of character, with exposed beams, stone walls and traditional furnishings. There is a comfortable ground-floor sitting area and, upstairs, a welcoming living room with a woodburner — perfect for relaxing in the evening. The kitchen is well equipped with a range cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine, and there is a separate dining room with a large table that seats the whole party, plus a utility room with a washing machine. Biomass central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, with initial logs for the woodburner by arrangement.

Five Comfortable Bedrooms

The five bedrooms offer a flexible mix of double, twin and single beds — including a characterful four-poster room and a ground-floor double, handy for anyone who prefers to avoid the stairs. One bedroom has its own en-suite shower, and there is a family bathroom with a roll-top bath and a separate shower. The rooms are warm and homely, several with exposed stone and beams.

Games Room, Hot Tub and Garden

A real bonus is the games room, with a pool table and a dartboard for rainy afternoons and friendly competition. Outside, the large enclosed garden has a lawn, garden furniture and a private hot tub — a lovely spot to relax after a day exploring. A barbecue is available on request, and there is private parking.
