Llandudno Ski Slope and Snowboard Centre
The Llandudno Ski Slope and Snowboard Centre is set near Happy Valley and the Great Orme. It was built in 1986 and is Britains longest toboggan run. It offers a wide variety of ski and snowboard lessons for different ages and abilities. The centre has exhilarating activities like sno-tubing and toboggan. It is home to a fully licensed bar and restaurant and is a top venue for parties and events. It is not only popular with amateurs; it is of great national importance. Each year, the Artificial Ski Championships take place at the centre.
Skiing lessons are offered for adults and children above 4 years. There is also a package for school and college students. You can opt for a private lesson or a group lesson. A group lesson enables you to advance through the skill level system with participants of the same ability. If you are an experienced skier, you can opt for open practice.
Snowboarding lessons are also offered for children, adults, schools, and colleges. Children taking snowboarding lessons must be more than 10 years. There are private lessons and group lessons. Open practice is available for experienced snowboarders.
While at the centre, take time to ride Wales longest Cresta Toboggan that spans 750m. The journey begins at the base of the hill and your toboggan cart ascends 250m offering you spectacular views of Llandudno bay.
Sno-tubing is an exciting activity you cant afford to miss out on. Sno-tubes are fun and safe and can be linked together or ridden individually. They are a popular feature at the centre and are great for both adults and children.
