Savona Cottage

Extremely convenient Brecon Beacons holiday cottage, located in the centre of Crickhowell in a short lane behind the Bear Hotel, just 2 minutes walk from the main High Street.
Savona is a beautiful detached bungalow in a large secluded garden offering comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people. An excellent base for walking in the Black Mountains, exploring the general area of the National Park and also an excellent location for just strolling in Crickhowell which offers an excellent range of shops selling local produce, outdoor clothing, gifts, and household goods.

Three bedrooms, one accessed through the twin bedroom. Kitchen, dining and sitting room. Shower room. The family bathroom has a bath with shower.

The Area -
Crickhowell is a lively and interesting town situated on the A 40 some 6 miles west of Abergavenny, the Gateway to Wales. Being so close to the Beacons National Park and the Black Mountains its an ideal base for many outdoor pursuits such as climbing, walking, cycling, horse riding, and fishing.
The town sits on the River Usk renowned for its riverside walks and wildlife. The Monmouthshire and Brecon canal is located in the village of Llangattock on the other side of the River. The Sugar Loaf Mountain near Abergavenny and Table Mountain at Crickhowell enjoy excellent walks and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
During the year Abergavenny hosts the famed Food Festival in September and Brecon hosts the Jazz Festival in August. Crickhowell hosts a Walking Festival in March.
