Things to See and Do
From your doorstep, you can access many wonderful walks. You will see amazing views everywhere you turn. As you wander leisurely, keep an eye open for wildlife and wild fruits like strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Radnor Forest was once a hunting ground. It became a scenic forest when the locals planted many trees. It is home to a stunning waterfall that has been drawing tourists for more than 200 years.
The local area provides a host of outdoor activities like walking, horse riding, and cycling. Glyndwr's Way and Offas Dyke Path are close by as are local gardens and golf courses. Attend an event at the Royal Welsh Showground or Builth Wells and meet some locals. The two hold many events throughout the year. The Elan Valley Reservoirs and Rhayader will surely delight you especially the latter, with its Red Kite feeding centre.
