Our luxury bed and breakfast accommodation can be found in the now quiet Radnorshire Valley in Powys Mid Wales, Pilleth Oaks is built on the site of the Battle of Pilleth which took place in1402.
The Guesthouse enjoys an elevated position with stunning views of the Lugg Valley. Guests are welcome to enjoy Breakfasts & Dinners 'al fresco' (weather permitting), a pre-dinner drink or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of beautiful surroundings on the terrace balcony accessed from both the lounge and dining room.

The Battle of Pilleth:
Pilleth is famous for one of Owain Glyndwr's greatest battles. In 1402 He took on and defeated Edmund Mortimer from Wigmore Castle in Herefordshire who represented King Henry IV. The battle was a hard-fought and bloody engagement during which over 800 men were reportedly slain.
