Tyson Fury v Anthony Joshua

Fury vs Joshua comes to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Friday 11 December 2026. Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have talked about fighting each other for years. Until now, they have never met in a professional ring. Below you will find ticket details, how to get there, and hotels near the Principality Stadium.

Fury vs Joshua at the Principality Stadium

Both men are former heavyweight world champions. Fury goes in with a record of 39 wins, 2 defeats and a draw. Joshua has won 30 and lost 4, with 27 of those wins by knockout.

Joshua knows this stadium well. He beat Carlos Takam here in October 2017. Then in March 2018 he beat Joseph Parker in front of 78,000 people. The roof closes, so a December night in Cardiff is no problem for the crowd.

Tickets

Tickets go on general sale at 12 noon on Friday 9 October 2026. You can buy tickets for Fury vs Joshua on Ticketmaster. Each person or household can buy up to eight. Ticketmaster cancels any tickets over that limit.

The ring-walk time has not been announced yet. Neither has the undercard.

Getting to the stadium

The stadium sits in the middle of the city, on Westgate Street. Cardiff Central station is a few minutes’ walk away, so you can come by train. If you drive, the stadium points you to the park and ride sites at Pentwyn and Leckwith.

Collecting tickets on the night? Go to the WRU Store on Westgate Street, next to Gate 3. Bring your Ticketmaster reference and the card you paid with. The cardholder has to sign for them.

The stadium turns away anyone carrying alcohol or drink containers. Leave airhorns, cameras and recording kit at home too. Smoking is banned everywhere inside.

Hotels near the Principality Stadium

A big night at the stadium fills Cardiff fast, so book your bed early. A late finish also means a long drive home in the small hours, and a room in town saves you that.

Some of the closest beds are a short walk from the turnstiles. The Holiday Inn Cardiff City and The Angel Hotel are both about a quarter of a mile away. The Angel sits opposite Cardiff Castle. Austins Guest House is just as close. For a group, WiseStay and the Hafan y Ddinas apartment each sleep six, about a tenth of a mile away.

Staying outside the city for Fury vs Joshua

If Cardiff is full, look along the coast. Barry and Llantwit Major both have trains into Cardiff Central, a few minutes’ walk from the stadium. Check the last train home before you book, because the fight time is not out yet.
