Narberth Food Festival 2026

The Narberth Food Festival celebrates its 26th year on 26 and 27 September 2026. Set in the heart of one of Pembrokeshire’s most attractive market towns, it draws producers, chefs and food lovers from across Wales for a weekend that showcases the best of Welsh and local food and drink in a town already renowned for its independent food scene.

The festival spreads through the town centre, with stalls along the high street and in the market square selling artisan bread, local cheese, Welsh charcuterie, honey, preserves, cakes, and seasonal produce. Cooking demonstrations, tastings and talks run throughout the weekend, and the event has a reputation for being genuinely welcoming rather than corporate — most producers are small, local businesses.

Narberth itself is worth exploring beyond the festival weekend. The town’s independent shops include a number of well-regarded delis, restaurants and food businesses that contribute to its character as a foodie destination. The Norman castle ruins, surrounding countryside and proximity to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park add to its appeal.

Narberth is well placed for exploring Pembrokeshire, sitting roughly midway between the coast and the Preseli Hills. Accommodation is available in the town and throughout the surrounding area, including the coastal villages of Saundersfoot and Tenby a short drive to the south.
