Mwnt, Cardigan, Ceredigion, West Wales, UK, SA43 1QF

Situated near the beautiful beach of Mwnt, on the West Coast of Wales, Blaenwaun Farm Caravan and Camping site is a family run business offering a professional yet personal service in ideal surroundings. Blaenwaun Farm Caravan and Camping site is located 4 miles North of Cardigan Town. It is a working beef and arable farm, run by the Davies family. Experience a relaxing holiday with lots to do for all the family. Get to know the farm animals; you can even help to feed the calves, go fishing or just soak up the sun.

On this site we offer flush toilets, H&C Hand Basins, Showers, Laundry and a Shop. Camping and Calor Gas is available for exchange. Electric Hookup points are provided on request. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control and exercised off the field. There is ample play area on the site for children. A spacious six berth static caravan is also available for weekly hire. It has 1 double bedroom; 1 twin bedroom and bathroom with shower. Fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge and colour T.V. in the lounge area. Occasionally permanent static sites overlooking Cardigan bay become available. Please contact us for further details.

You can find us by getting to Cardigan on the A487, then follow the signs to Mwnt. The Camp site overlooks Cardigan Bay with its unique sunset. The beautiful beach of Mwnt. It's within walking distance and is reached by bridle path adjoining the site. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the cliff top or climb the conical hill known as Foel-y-Mwnt. This 250 foot hill provides a vantage point to watch the seals and dolphins at play and for magnificent views across to cardigan Island. At the foot of Foel-y-Mwnt stands an ancient, whitewashed church known as the Church of the Holy Cross, and is thought to date from the Thirteenth century. We also have a coarse fishing lake, well stocked with Tench, Carp and Rudd, ideal for beginners, and the more experienced fisherman. The lakes are inland just a few hundred yards and very handy for those staying on the site. The views are spectacular, as you follow the coastal path. Our camp site is an ideal base for ramblers, fishermen as well as those looking for beautiful safe beaches. We are ideally situated for easy access for sea fishing, in some of the cleanest waters around Britain.

Just a mile or so away is the famous Rainforest and Butterfly centre, with their free flying butterflies in natural surroundings. In Hellan you can take a trip on a steam train. This is well worth the experience, especially for the young. There are many more places to visit during your stay, such as Wollen mills, Cheese making, Coastal Park, Wildlife and Adventure Parks. Most sports are catered for such as 9 and 18 hole Golf Courses, Tennis, Bowls, Pony Trekking, Swimming Pool and a Leisure Centre.
