Garnffrwd Park is pet-friendly and welcomes pets in its holiday Lodges and Caravan Club Certified Location (2 pets per holiday property). The pets must be well behaved and must be kept on a lead at all times. Oftentimes, an empty field where dogs can play is available.
Lodges, Cottage, Camping and Touring
Garnffrwd Park has two lodges: Ash lodge and Oak lodge rentals. Ash lodge has a twin room and a double room. Its veranda offers splendid views of the lake and woods. Oak lodge has two bedrooms: a double and a single with full-size bunks. Its veranda also offers spectacular views.
The holiday cottage is located 200 yards from the fishing lake. Its ground floor has a twin room, a double room, and a detached shower. The lounge, kitchen, and dining area are located on the first floor. Central heating and a log fire keep the cottage warm throughout the year.
Amenities provided in the cottage include a Freeview TV, a DVD, a microwave, bed linen and duvets, travel cots, highchairs, and electricity. Beds are made prior to your arrival.
Garnffrwd Caravan Club Certified Location (CL) Site
This Carmarthenshire park has a CL site that's been operating for more than 20 years. It has 5 pitches with hard-standings and electrical hook-ups. The washroom and chemical disposal point are situated in the farmyard.
The site is open all year round and offers relaxing breaks. Pitches are provided at £15.00 a night and £90.00 a week. If you love fishing, you'll enjoy staying here.
The Trout Fishery
The brilliantly designed 5-acre lake in the park is surrounded by woodland. It was constructed in 1983 and is fed by natural spring water. It is filled with fly and crustacean species like mayflies, damsels, and sedges which make great food for trout.
Fishing platforms are advantageously positioned so that fishing enthusiasts can enjoy fishing in pleasurable and tranquil surroundings. The lake is filled with many blue, tiger, brown, and rainbow trout. Most of the fish stocked are grown at the fishery, one of UKs best still water trout fisheries. The lake is open from 8.00am to dusk every day.
Explore Llanelli and Its Environs
Set at the opening of River Loughor, Llanelli is a gorgeous town. Once a mining town, it has been lengthily renovated and consists of a theatre, modern shopping centres, and a picturesque cycle path. It is known for its golf courses and rugby matches. Watch horse racing at Ffos Las or try motorsport racing at the Pembrey Circuit. Sandy beaches and refreshing walks are in plenty.
