Rhosneigr is famous for off-shore shipwrecks that divers enjoy exploring and since the 1920’s it has been a fashionable seaside destination. Today it is known for its magnificent beaches and renowned watersports, providing some of the best kite-surfing and windsurfing in Wales, with local tuition available.

Activities are virtually on your doorstep, including sailing, fishing, sand yachting, diving, golfing and hours of family fun enjoying ball games or building sand castles on the vast sandy beaches. There are several fine restaurants, pubs selling local ales and shops that can cater for all your needs in the village, if you wish to venture further afield, the market town of Llangefni has a large supermarket and the port of Holyhead has an out of town shopping centre, or perhaps book a day-trip to Dublin, the University City of Bangor is within easy travelling distance, while close-by is the Anglesey Race Circuit, where car and motorbike racing takes place.

You will find plenty of places of interest nearby, like Pili Palas Butterfly Farm, the Anglesey Sea Zoo, Plas Newydd (National Trust) and Beaumaris Castle. From Beaumaris, boat trips can be booked around Puffin Island with the chance to see nesting guillemots and puffins, or book a fishing trip from the pier (all rods and bait included), cross to the mainland and enjoy the majesty of Snowdonia, or Victorian Llandudno’s shops, restaurants and dry-ski slope. With so much to see and do, we hope it won’t be long before you arrive on the Isle of Anglesey.
