Bodfan, a Pet-Friendly Self-Catering Farmhouse

"Bodfan, a traditional detached self-catering farmhouse with modern comforts, placed in rural surroundings with distant mountain views of Snowdonia.
Staying in Bodfan gives an opportunity to visit the wonderful Isle of Anglesey, a geological jewel set in a marine environment of infinite variety. The farmhouse is situated between Valley and Llangefni, it is close to Llyn Alaw the largest lake on the Island and Llynnon Mill. It is placed just two miles from junction 5 of the A55, for convenient access to Anglesey's many beautiful beaches and tourist attractions. Slightly further afield, for those seeking thrills, there is Zip World in Bethesda, huge trampolines underground in Llechwedd Slate Caverns (Bounce Below), the Menai Straights RibRide and White Water Rafting on Afon Tryweryn. All ages, wishing to test their climbing skills (in the dry) can visit Beacon Climbing Centre in Caernarfon.
Caernarfon, Bangor and the mountains of Snowdonia are all within easy reach of Bodfan whilst Portmeirion, the Lleyn Peninsular, Porth Madog make a delightful day's outing.
Holiday Accommodation:
The farmhouse has five bedrooms consisting of one double bedroom, two rooms with twin beds and two single bedrooms. There is a bathroom on the first floor with a mixer shower and a shower room on the ground floor, both with toilets. Unusually, the property has a back and front staircase. On the ground floor, there is a large comfortable lounge with multi-fuel stove, TV, video and DVD player, CD player with radio and comfortable seating for eight adults. Bodfan has WIFI available with a dedicated internet connection. There is also a separate dining room and a library. The open plan kitchen has a dining area with views over Bodfans extensive gardens. Facilities include full oil central heating, electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer (extra freezer space available by arrangement), double-glazing and garden furniture. Bed linen and towels are supplied, heating and electricity are included in summer lettings but a winter heating supplement of up to 50 per week is charged.
Cyclists and Walkers are particularly welcome. We have storage for cycles and equipment and full washing and drying facilities for wet clothes. Please inquire.
Bodfan is approached by its own long tree-lined drive with parking for up to 4 cars. Well-behaved pets are welcomed at owners risk but please be aware that sheep graze in a number of fields close to the property.
Our normal changeover day is Friday or Saturday, however, adjustments to this can be made in less busy periods. Short stays will also be considered. The property will be available from 4 pm on date of arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure A deposit of 20% will be required to secure the booking and is non-refundable if the booking is canceled. Payment can be arranged through PayPal if required. The balance of the holiday must be paid at least 4 weeks before arrival. Full payment will be required for holidays booked with less than 4 weeks notice. Bodfan is a no smoking holiday property."
