A large family barn right next to the sandy Borthwen beach - great for family holidays or large groups that wish to celebrate. Big Moo is a carefully renovated self-catering coastal barn on the Isle of Anglesey with a good specification interior and a sociable layout. Sea and sky flood into the first floor living room and kitchen through huge velux roof windows with sea views. This contemporary open living space has a black glossy kitchen and a granite-topped island with dining table too. Look over the bay with binoculars from the large windows to watch the sea birds and ships pass by.
Three bedrooms and bathrooms are down stairs, the other bedroom is off the living room. The entire ground floor has warm under floor heated oak or stone floors, bright bedding and simple furniture. The master bedroom is spacious and uncluttered with a king size bed and the luxury of an en-suite shower room. The twin room has single beds and is light and airy. Another twin room can be found next door, which has the option of being made with the two single beds or a large super king. An inviting forth bedroom leads from the living space with a huge super king bed. Bathrooms are dressed in a warm shade of travertine stone.
The lawn garden is small but perfect for sitting and rejuvenating in the peace and sun. With a barbecue and table with chairs enjoy the sunny morning breakfasts. The venture for walks. Beyond the barn are coastal walks with amazing sea views so take the path to other coves too for bucket-and-spades heaven. Great for kayaking, mountain bikes and sailing. Church Bay is a mile and a half away with a good fish restaurant called The Lobster Pot. It is a mile to the nearest shop and a miles and a half to a great pub the Black Lion. Holyhead has loads of large shops for all you need and is about 9 miles away with links to Ireland. The A55 expressway is 10 minutes giving easy access to explore the beauty of the Isle of Anglesey and with the majestic Snowdonia mountain range about half an hour away.
