Caban Bach (Atlas Mirage static caravan)
Well presented holiday caravan near Brynteg, located on a smallholding (Y Caban) within the Gors Goch Nature Reserve less than 10 minutes drive from Benllech on the beautiful island of Anglesey. The Atlas Mirage is a 31 foot by 10-foot well-maintained modern caravan. With space for up to 6 guests and is the perfect base from which to explore all that Anglesey and the neighboring Snowdonia National Park has to offer.
Master bedroom has one double bed and a wardrobe.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a wardrobe.
There is also a pull-out bed in the lounge.
The caravan is sited in an elevated position, with views of open countryside. To the rear of the caravan, there is a large pond, with a resident family of ducks, other animals on the grounds include a horse, 5 goats, hens a cockerel, and also our cocker spaniel dog. The parking area is above the pond and a gravel path leads to the caravan.
Inside the caravan, there are two bedrooms (one double and one twin), and a bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin. The lounge area has adequate space to relax and has a dining table. The kitchen features a full-size cooker with oven, grill and hob, a fridge, microwave, and a toaster, along with all the cutlery, crockery, pans and utensils needed to enjoy a fantastic self-catering holiday, condiments are also provided, a welcome tray comprising of tea, coffee, milk, and sugar is provided for your arrival.
Self-catering is a great way to holiday on a budget, but if you like to go out for meals during your holiday, there are plenty of local options for great food. Anglesey has a wealth of restaurants & pubs, Tavern on the Bay, the Boathouse and the Ship Inn are all within a 10-minute drive at nearby Red Wharf.
Anglesey's main attraction is its miles of sandy beaches. Favourite with families is the large sandy bays of Benllech and Red Wharf Bay. If you are the more energetic Rhosneigr is a popular destination for surfers. Traeth Lligwy is one of Anglesey's most beautiful beaches, where the recent BBC drama Pitching in filmed several scenes.
There's so much to see and do on Anglesey, visitors are spoilt for choice. From walking the many coastal paths/nature reserves to exploring our many burial chambers. Perhaps you'd like to take a RIB ride on the Menai Strait, there are plenty of adrenaline-pumping activities to keep you busy. Nature lovers are well catered for too, with plenty of nature reserves and wildlife havens to explore. The RSPB reserve at South Stack is particularly impressive. Visitors can try to spot the native red squirrels here on the Gors Goch reserve.
For visitors looking for a little culture, there are several Castles within a 40-minute drive. Garden lovers will enjoy visiting Plas Newydd House and Gardens, which sit in a spectacular spot, on the banks of the Menai Straits.
