Tyn Llain is a luxury 3 bedroom B&B on the beautiful island of Anglesey. It is situated just 5 minutes from the sea, nestling in a peaceful rural location between Cemaes and Church Bay. We aim to provide a totally relaxing break. You are free to wander around the 6 acre small holding, which is home to sheep, pigs, ponies and hens as well as our 2 cats. Alongside the homely comforts of homemade cake and bread, we offer the touches of luxury that make a memorable stay, such as high thread count bed linen, luxury Hypnos beds and soft fluffy towels.
On arrival at Tyn Llain, homemade cake awaits you. Your welcome tray also includes fresh milk, water and a selection of biscuits and warm drinks.
Our breakfasts are included and consist of a full Welsh breakfast (using the best local sausages and bacon and eggs laid by our own hens) alongside other alternatives such as smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or omelettes. We offer a variety of fruit, yoghurt and cereals on the breakfast table, alongside fresh fruit juice and teas or coffee. We also offer vegetarian and gluten free options.
Our beds our luxury king size Hypnos beds, made up with high thread count linen.
You can plan your stay using our books and maps, which you are free to borrow. In the evenings enjoy some of the clearest night skies in Wales and listen to the owls. Please feel free to bring your own wine etc. We are happy to provide glasses and ice buckets as we do not have an alcohol licence. We can provide a supper platter of seafood or meats and cheeses and also a packed lunch for your days out at an extra charge.
Tyn Llain is only half an hour from the ferry port at Holyhead. It is close to Cemaes Bay, the most northerly village in Wales, where you may witness incredible sunsets along with occasional sightings of the Northern Lights.
Mynydd Mechell is a peaceful rural location close to sandy beaches and local attractions. It is within easy reach of Cemlyn Bay Nature Reserve, Parys Mountain and the pretty village of Cemaes Bay. Day trips to Ireland depart from Holyhead, whilst Snowdonia National Park, with its exhilarating range of outdoor pursuits, is easily accessible. You will find superb walking and excellent golf courses nearby.
