A walk up the path to the summit of Garnfadryn mountain at 1217ft - registered with CADW as a site of Welsh Historic Monument - is well worth the magnificent far reaching views of the whole of the Peninsula, Meirionnydd and the mountains of Yr Eifl and Eryri/Snowdonia.

Thank you for your friendly welcome on arrival. We have enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and pleasant views. The caravan was clean and very well equipped. We hope to return again soon. Richard, Lorraine, Sam, Dan, Lauren & Hollie.
One word! "EXCELLENT" Thank you, the Wilks & Kitchen families.
A comfortable well-equipped caravan set in glorious scenery. ideal for a get-away holiday. We've cycled over 50 miles through the lovely lanes and have climbed up to the triangulation point on Garnfadryn itself! Challenging, but we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Thank you. S and M Swingler.
Well, what can we say, right from the warm welcome on our arrival to the extremely comfortable caravan we have felt so at home! What a find, 3 days is just not enough we will be back soon! The weather has been beautiful what more could we ask for. Thank you! Louise, Simon, Elizabeth, Rachel & Ruby the puppy.
One word- perfection. A lovely welcome, everything we needed even a touch of nice weather. Beautiful views, peace, and tranquility a great base for visiting the surrounding area. Will be sorry to leave. Love, Sue, Nigel, June, Bob.
Just to say we had a really nice time staying in Wales. The caravan was in an excellent position with fantastic views to look at with nothing more than the sound of the sheep and lambs to break the peace and quiet. A very relaxing holiday. Thank you. Colin and Sharon.
Well, what can we say, from the fantastic greeting on arrival? The caravan is excellent, very comfortable, the scenery is heaven itself, can't wait to come back again. Suzanne, Steve, Terry, Chris and Charlie the dog.
We've had a super holiday which started with a warm welcome and a clean cosy retreat with amazing views. The first two days we were in the clouds! but the weather has steadily improved and we have walked parts of the coastal path and spent hours on the gorgeous beaches, our favorite being Nefyn. It's so relaxing here and has the feel of an island -we have both slept like babies! The dogs Sephyr and Skye have also given it the paw seal of approval and want to come back next year - and so do we! Jon and Isla Davies.
We received a very warm welcome and were shown a very clean and comfortable caravan equipped with everything that you need. Although in very low cloud when we arrived we were not disappointed with the stunning views that greeted us the next morning. We even managed to spot Ireland! A fabulous base to explore Wales, we had some great days out whilst barbequing and relaxing in the sun back here. Thanks. Samantha, Chris, and William Warren.
As always a lovely warm welcome. We love this caravan and time here. Stunning views, plenty of space and lovely people. Thanks so much, see you next year. Laura and Joshua Taleporos.
Even better than we remembered, spotless well equipped caravan. Beautiful views, peaceful location. Best beach Porth Oer. Thanks. Jacqui, Peter & Ieuan.
Thanks, guys. You've got a really special place here. I hope I will be able to come back, next time with Keith. It was exactly what I needed. Went to the top of the mountain, stunning views, Porth Dinllaen, pint at Ty Coch then Porth Iago, which I had all to myself. Yesterday it lashed down, so stayed in PJs and did a jigsaw! Thanks for letting me have a leisurely morning today before I head off home. I'll be back! Nell McGuinness.
Can easily say one of the best holidays ever and we've been all over the world. Felt at home as soon as we went into the caravan. Made to feel very welcome. Just what the doctor ordered. Even Sue the cat let her hair down. Cannot wait to come back to wonderful North Wales. Ps Did not need the kitchen sink I brought with me! Chris and Nick.
Very friendly and welcoming couple who have thought of everything for the van. An excellent site for a refreshing and relaxing break. Hard to believe I got sunburnt in Oct. Borrowed a book on long-term loan but we will be bringing it back. Thank you. Paul (the burnt one) & Helen.
Had many caravan holidays, but this was the best equipped, most comfortable to date. Very comfortable, amazing views, loved every minute. Definitely hope to return, wish I didn't have to leave! Hazel Taylor.
Had a wonderful holiday! Everything has been great, including the Welsh weather! A really special spot, hope to return soon. Georgina & John Lawrence.
I and Ruby had a fantastic time here. Owners so friendly and made us feel welcome. I have never felt so comfortable and cosy on holiday as I have done here. We will be back, thanks for everything. Alison & Ruby.
Caravan in a superb position, glorious views, an excellent centre for walking the Peninsula Coastal Path. A very comfortable base for a most enjoyable week walking. Jan, David, Michael, John & Brian.
Although we had more than our fair share of wintry weather, we have enjoyed a restful and peaceful time. The caravan is well equipped and cosy and we were able to adapt according to the conditions. The scenery has been great with magnificent views and we found some real gems. We've walked, climbed mountains, explored, had picnics, a train ride, BBQ, visited Portmeirion and spotted 75 bird species. Found a good eating place Tafarn Pencei cafe/bar by Porthmadog harbour. It was always good to get back and relax in the solitude and peace of the caravan. Thank you. Bob & Gaynor.
Yet again a lovely time had. We often find ourselves sad to leave and excited to return next year! So much to do for the whole family. Absolutely stunning surroundings bur accessible to so many points of interest from castles and beaches to train rides and markets. And even the mountain next to us for the novice "mountaineer" to climb. Thanks so much for a lovely time and warm welcome yet again. Can't wait till next year! Lots of love from all the family. Laura, Joshua, Simon, Dominic & Mary Taleporos.
What a wonderful break in a truly stunning location in a wonderfully well-equipped caravan. It really has felt like home from home but with the perfect idyllic views. Thanks for all the careful thought you have put into creating a really lovely holiday home. Everything you need which has been perfect, love the decking area and BBQ. Matt, Fiona, Freya & Charlie.
We thought the island (Isle of Wight) was a great place to live but this beats all. Dramatic scenery, beautiful beaches, and very friendly locals. Dogs loved it. We will be back. Lyn & Vic Vivian, Blue, Bronte & Bracken Spaniel dogs.
Tangraig means your own mountain, magnificent panoramic views, all from a clean and comfy home - bliss! Jackie & Peter.
Lovely clean comfy caravan with beautiful scenic views surrounded by lovely beaches and we had good weather too! Couldn't ask for anything more. Lovely friendly helpful people very welcoming and we loved the sheep, we'll miss them! Janet Ireland & Cath Waterschool.
We have had a lovely stay in a perfect location. All we could have wished for and we really appreciate the fact owners came to look for us on arrival so we could actually get here! We would highly recommend that others stay here, we know they would be well looked after. Thank you. Debbie, Andrew. Jack & Zoe.
Absolutely loved it here. You have set this caravan up wonderfully and we had everything we needed - thank you. Location and views are stunning! Weather also was fairly kind to us so was able to sit outside and lap it up! You have a little gem here which I'm sure everyone who comes will appreciate. The Barret family.
We thought we were in a 'lord of the rings' movie upon arrival, that view!!! Had a bit of car trouble - without a car for two days but it didn't matter, thank you for your kindness & patience. Great stay. x The Goodall.
We have had a great stay in your lovely caravan - so clean! View spectacular! We've really enjoyed exploring all the lanes on our bikes. Garnfadryn has an unbeatable view. We'll definitely be back! Thanks. Sally. Dave & Matthew.
We've spent a fantastic week exploring the coastal path - including Llanbedrog, Abersoch, Aberdaron, Plas yn Rhiw. Hells Mouth and Mynydd Cilan. Our finale was a trip up Carn Fadryn Friday evening for a spectacular sunset. The sheep and lambs have entertained us all week - never saw the stoat. Caravan superb and we hope to return next year. Thanks for everything. Diolch yn fawr iawn. Meryl & Ceinwen.
We have had a lovely week, sadly we have to go home tomorrow. We could not have asked for more in the caravan and we still kept finding everything we needed here. Views are stunning and lots of room for the dogs to play outside, all 3 of them. Will definitely have another holiday here. Thank you. Lorraine, Paul, Phillip & Billy, Bobby & Misty our dogs.
We have again enjoyed our stay in Wales. The caravan is fantastic. Will see you all again next year. Jan, Paul & Malteser Stanley.
Many thanks for a lovely peaceful holiday, excellent caravan spectacular views - what a way to relax! Sandra & Maurice.
Had a very good stay in a lovely caravan, scenery outstanding and visited quite a few places locally, interesting villages. Enjoyed our stay very much, views from caravan beautiful. Anne, Derek & Yvonne.
Another fantastic time in your caravan. Can't wait to book again for next year! Phil, Donna, George & Emily Draycott.
Thank you for the warm welcome - we have had a splendid holiday. The best-equipped caravan ever - we wanted for nothing - and those views! Quite an eventful time climbed Snowdon the same day that Seb Coe lit the Paralympic flame on top and was half way round Sygun copper mine when there was a power cut necessitating a complete evacuation! Recommend the coastal walk south from Porth Oer and Carn Fadryn climb too magnificent 360 views if you time the weather right. Also Plas yn Rhiw and Aberdaron church for those interested in RS Thomas (vicar & poet). Thank you for one of our best family holidays ever. Diolch yn fawr i chwi. Alan & Eleanor Davison & family.
We never had any rain, during the day, all week, something we haven't done in Wales before. Mainly sunny and warm. Enjoyed watching the Ravens display on the hill behind. Saw a pod of Dolphins from the coast path south of Nant Gwytheyrn (a lovely spot at the foot of the hills) and a Grey Seal. Visited Porthdinllaen and the Ty Coch Inn, another lovely spot especially when the sun is out. An excellent week walking some of the coast paths. Enid & Mick Firth.
Many thanks for the warm welcome you gave us. After 4 days in London, we were searching for calm in Wales and we have found it in your well-prepared caravan. Have seen a lot of nature, breathtaking views from Carn Fadryn and have found very helpful and friendly Welsh people. If we come back in future we will book your caravan again. When back in Germany and internet access I will send you some pictures. Thanks again for your warm welcome. Inge & Ingo Stohr.
We've had another great week here in Garnfadryn. The Welsh weather has been really kind to us sunshine 6 days out of 7! Amazing! We've done a lot of walking and cycling around the lovely little tracks and lanes. The hedgerows and verges are truly beautiful this year, never seen Bluebells in such profusion. Hope to be back soon. Dave, Sally, and Matthew.
Thank you for a fantastic week, what a spectacularly beautiful place. The weather has been unbelievable, like the Med. We've visited so many brilliant places. The beaches are fantastic Dazzler nearly learned to swim. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for Dazzler's first holiday since he came from the Dogs Trust. Charlie, Debbie & Dazzler.
A perfect, peaceful spot for this retired couple and retired Greyhound Betsy. We had fantastic weather and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the peninsula (and regularly getting lost!) The caravan is extremely comfortable and well equipped. Thank you.Helen & Alan.
A beautiful and peaceful place. Views are amazing, the weather was beautiful so we visited most of the local beaches. Kids enjoyed running around and looking at the sheep. The caravan is great, more than enough room for all of us. Thank you. Daria, Lexie, Jozef, Ela, Gregors & Paulina.
This is our second stay here, and we've enjoyed this stay just as much as the first. We have enjoyed all of the walks and we loved walking up the mountain behind the caravan. The beaches were great fun and I think Sammy dog loved the holiday as much as we did. Hope to come back again. Georgia, Chriss, Danielle, Darren, Sammy dog, Biscuits and Crumbs the Gerbils.
The panoramic views around the caravan are awesome. A comfortable stay, owners are very approachable and helpful. We love the area - it's unspoiled and beautiful. Nowhere ever seems crowded. Peace and quiet really appreciated - just the baa-ing of the sheep. It's all been great - thanks. Maurice & June.
Arrived with everything covered in low cloud but on waking next morning the skies had cleared and the views were absolutely lovely. Like previous comments, the caravan is clean, well equipped and cosy. Completely fell in love with the area. Fabulous beaches, quiet roads, people friendly. Wonderfully relaxing. The scenery is outstanding. We even saw a snake slithering across the road on a quiet road. Blackberry pickers heaven. Thank you both for your friendly welcome. Found the files very helpful especially the beach descriptions. Really lovely holiday! Ken & Margaret, Cassie, Molly & Penny our dogs.
What a beautiful place & base. We have had a lovely week and been very lucky with the weather. Our black Labrador lady has had a fantastic time going to the different beaches and also up the mountain behind. very relaxing with fantastic views. Thanks, we will be back! Paul & Shelley Holland.
