Book 4-star bed and breakfast, at Llaingwta on the Llyn Peninsula, near the coastal resorts of Abersoch, and Nefyn, Aberdaron, and Pwllheli with access to beautiful beaches and coves of the Llyen.

The Llyn Peninsula is a very popular north Wales holiday destination and Llaingwta cottage boasts sea views and makes a great base for either a relaxing or adventurous holiday or short break.

The b&b stands in open rural countryside with a view towards Porth Neigwl in Welsh or (Hell's Mouth) it is its central location, that makes it so convenient to all the Peninsula's amenities, sailing, swimming, golfing, walking, beaches and many lovely local pubs, inns and fine restaurants which serve excellent food.

The nearby coastal towns of Abersoch and Aberdaron beckon with their golden sandy beaches and opportunities for beach games, fishing or for the very sporty, Kayaking, windsurfing and surfboarding. The Wales coastal path weaves its way along this most wonderful coastline allowing you the chance to walk for short stretches or for miles, unheeded by traffic.

The accommodation is provided in either one twin bedded room, located in the annex with its own private entrance, or a double bedded room in the house both with luxury en-suite facilities. Free internet access is available by WiFi in the cottage. The accommodation is graded 4 stars, each bedroom is well presented with beverage facilities. Cyclists and walkers are very welcome and we can provide storage for bicycles. After a good nights sleep wake up to a freshly cooked full Welsh breakfast.

Local facilities

Shopping, pharmacies and cash machines can be found in Pwllheli and Abersoch both of which are approximately 4 miles away. The coastal resort of Pwllheli boasts a large sailing marina and hosts a number of international sailing regattas. For Golfers, there are courses at Abersoch, Nefyn, and Pwllheli, with numerous water-sports opportunities. Many wonderful restaurants, coastal and country pubs are within easy reach by car. Llaingwta b&b is also convenient for a stopover on the way to visit Bardsey Island. Local.buses pass by the cottage daily.

French doors lead to the gardens.

Rooms are available from 4 pm and we ask that they are vacated by 10.30am daily or 10 am on the day of departure. The annex bedroom is unsuitable for children. We regret that we are unable to accept pets and smoking is not allowed in the house, annex, gardens or grounds. We will endeavor to answer any questions you may have about the area, the best beaches, and great places to visit and thus to make your stay enjoyable which will leave you with wonderful memories of the Llyn Peninsula and north Wales.

Directions

From Pwllheli, Follow the sign for Nefyn and Abersoch, pass the ESSO Garage on your left and bear left on mini-roundabout to A499 towards Abersoch, In Llanbedrog turn right to B4413 for Aberdaron. Keep on B4413 until you come to the village of Botwnnog. Just before the Post Office on the right, turn right. (If you pass the old petrol station on the right, you have missed this turning.) Pass the school and Church on your right, within a mile, turn right. (Look out for a farmhouse with a trampoline in front) The cottage is the first on the right.

This includes a full Welsh breakfast.

Rates vary depending on the time of the year. When a deposit is required it is non-refundable.
