Trefecca Farm, in Talgarth, is home to three delightful self-catering holiday properties, and The Granary is the most recently converted of the three. Sleeping up to 7 guests, The Granary offers flexible accommodation across two floors. Upstairs, there is a double room and a family room, which has bunks beds and a single bed, whilst on the ground floor, there is another bedroom, which has a zip and link bed, and an en-suite wet room with full disabled access.

The accommodation is decorated to a high standard throughout, with oak beams and oak style flooring.

The contemporary kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday, including a cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, as well as all pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. In the lounge area, there is a TV with FreeView channels available.

Guests are welcome to meet the small flock of Welsh sheep on the farm, and the surrounding lanes offer the chance to explore this delightful rural setting.

Talgarth is a thriving market town that is known as the gateway to the Black Mountains, and its well worth a visit. The recently restored Talgarth Mill provides a wonderful look back at the traditional ways of milling flour, and now houses a charming cafe and small gift shop. Within walking distance is the magnificent Bronllys Castle, an imposing stone keep with three floors, offering incredible views across the surrounding hills.

This part of Wales offers so much to holidaymakers, from those seeking outdoor adventures to those who appreciate a gentler pace of life. Adventure enthusiasts are spoiled for choice, with walking and hiking trails throughout the Brecon Beacons, to suit all ages and ability levels. Climb the highest peak in the National Park, Pen y Fan, to feel quite literally on top of the world. Casual walkers can take the most popular route up to the summit, whilst more experienced hikers can opt for one of the more challenging routes to the top. The Four Falls walk at Ystradfellte is another rewarding and moderately challenging hike, taking in four stunning waterfalls over a four hour hike. Fans of water-based adventures can also try kayaking, white water rafting, gorge walking and canoeing within the Brecon Beacons National Park, so theres no shortage of adventure opportunities.

Booking, Procedure and Conditions
To secure the booking we require a deposit which will be taken when you book online or it can be paid either by cheque, payable to Helen Jones or by BACS. details available at the time of booking.
A non-returnable deposit of 30% of total amount is required when making reservations (or full amount if booked within 30 days of holiday commencing. Once the booking has been confirmed, you are liable for the full payment in the event of a cancellation. We recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.

An initial 10% deposit is taken to hold the booking, the remaining 20% of the deposit or the full payment if booking within 30 days is required by cheque or BACS within 7 days. Details will be emailed with confirmation.

Breakage Deposit - A £100 deposit is required when paying the balance of your stay. It will be returned if there is no damage after the keys have been returned to us.

Balance of charges is payable by cheque or by BACS 30 days before commencement of holiday (if not received, we reserve the right to retain the deposit and re-let the accommodation).

The Property is No Smoking.

Damage or breakage to the accommodation or equipment must be reported and paid for. Visitors are expected to use the property with care and are fully responsible and liable for any loss or damage to the property or its contents.

Liability We do not accept responsibility for accidents or personal injury to guests, or inconvenience, loss or damage sustained at the property, however caused. Cars, contents, boats, trailers, cycles, luggage etc. and personal items are left at owners risk.

For safety and maximum enjoyment throughout your stay, parents are responsible for and must supervise children and babies at all times.
We reserve the right to withdraw or alter any facilities in the event of an emergency, or other good reason, and to amend our terms should the need arise.

The property will be available for occupation from 3.00 pm on arrival date and must be vacated by 10.00 am on departure date
