Superbly renovated and decorated to a super standard, Trefecca Farms Clock Barn offers self-catering accommodation for up to five guests, and is the ideal base for a walking holiday in the Brecon Beacons, a relaxing family holiday in this unspoilt part of Wales or an exhilarating outdoor adventure break, filled with thrills and spills.

The barn has one double bedroom, with a double futon and a sofa bed downstairs. Cots and highchairs are available on request for small children. Downstairs, the spacious kitchen has a cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher, as well as all the kitchen utensils, equipment, crockery and cutlery needed to enjoy a stay here. In the lounge area, there is a TV with Freeview. Guests are welcome to meet the small flock of Welsh sheep on the farm, and quiet lanes nearby offer the perfect opportunity to wander around, enjoying the peace and quiet of this rural idyll.

For visitors looking for outdoor adventures during their stay, the Brecon Beacons National Park has so much to offer. From hiking trails up the legendary Pen y Fan to kayaking, canoeing and gorge walking, there really is something for everyone here. Whether you choose to head off on a trail or join an organised activity day, this stunning landscape will never disappoint.

For a gentler pace, the areas pretty market towns make for a charming day out. Head to Abergavenny for its bustling market and independent food stores, or choose Brecon for its imposing cathedral, pretty Canal Basin and thriving shops and galleries. Crickhowell is another jewel of the National Park, with many charming boutiques and places to eat.

Wales has more castles per square kilometre than anywhere else in Europe, and there are plenty to choose from close by. Talgarths own Bronllys Castle is an impressive stone keep, with magnificent views for miles around. The castles at Abergavenny, Crickhowell and Brecon are all well worth a visit, and there are also more than 30 standing stones to discover in the National Park.

Whilst the kitchen facilities in The Clock Barn mean that its easy to cook for your holiday group, visitors may want to eat out during their stay, and there are plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from locally. A firm favourite with guests, the Felin Fach Griffin is a smart gastropub just a few minutes drive from Trefecca Farm, and it prides itself on its authentic, freshly prepared dishes that make use of the finest local produce and the best Welsh meats. A little further afield, The White Swan Inn at Llanfrynach and The Three Horseshoes Inn at Groesfforrd are both great choices.

With Talgarth seen as the gateway to the Black Mountains, and ideally situated for exploring the whole of the Brecon Beacons, a holiday at The Clock Barn will deliver lasting memories of a truly magnificent part of Wales. Booking, Procedure and Conditions
To secure the booking we require a deposit which will be taken when you book online or it can be paid either by cheque, payable to Helen Jones or by BACS. details available at the time of booking.
A non-returnable deposit of 25% of total amount is required when making reservations (or full amount if booked within 30 days of holiday commencing. Once the booking has been confirmed, you are liable for the full payment in the event of a cancellation. We recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.

BOOKING ONLINE
An initial 10% deposit is taken to hold the booking, the remainder of the deposit or the full payment if booking within 30 days is required by cheque or BACS within 7 days. Details will be emailed with confirmation.

Breakage Deposit - A £100 deposit is required when paying the balance of your stay. It will be returned if there is no damage after the keys have been returned to us.

Balance of charges is payable by cheque or by BACS 30 days before commencement of holiday (if not received, we reserve the right to retain the deposit and re-let the accommodation).

The Property is No Smoking.

Damage or breakage to the accommodation or equipment must be reported and paid for. Visitors are expected to use the property with care and are fully responsible and liable for any loss or damage to the property or its contents.

Liability We do not accept responsibility for accidents or personal injury to guests, or inconvenience, loss or damage sustained at the property, however caused. Cars, contents, boats, trailers, cycles, luggage etc. and personal items are left at owners risk.

For safety and maximum enjoyment throughout your stay, parents are responsible for and must supervise children and babies at all times.
We reserve the right to withdraw or alter any facilities in the event of an emergency, or other good reason, and to amend our terms should the need arise.

The property will be available for occupation from 3.00 pm on arrival date and must be vacated by 10.00 am on departure date
