Tyn y Coed Cottage is set in its own grounds and has a beautiful, large garden. You can sit outside and listen to birds chirping and water trickling from a nearby stream. The cottage is far away from disturbing noises yet near local amenities like shops, pubs, and restaurants. It guarantees total seclusion and is perfect for families or people who want to get away from everything.

Children wont run out of things to do as they holiday here. There are rope swings outdoors, trampoline, fields to be explored and lovely gardens to relax in. You can watch over them as they play or join them in their invigorating activities.
Get Comfy Indoors
Tyn y Coed Cottage has great amenities for self-catering holidays. It has a lovely log burner that keeps guests warm no matter the weather and a large LCD TV for entertainment. The TV has a full Sky package and is accompanied by a DVD. There is also a comprehensive DVD and book collection, games, and an iPod docking station. The games include many family favourites as well as toys for children. Free Wi-Fi is also provided.
The kitchen has a traditional feel and is fitted with a large range cooker, Belfast sink, oak worktops, and country table and chairs. Saucepans hang overhead and a butchers block and chefs knife set are available. A dishwasher is provided to help you cut down on chores.
Each of the 3 bedrooms at the cottage is beautifully equipped with solid oak furnishings, lovely windows, and cosy lamps. The rooms include two twins and an en-suite king-size. One of the twins can be converted into a king-size upon request. The bedrooms share a family shower room with a WC and a vanity set with a large mirror. Bed linen and fresh towels are provided.
Explore the Area
The Brecon Beacons National Park is filled with interesting things to see. Top on the list is the National Showcaves Centre for Wales, also known as Dan yr Ogof. It is one of Wales finest and most well preserved caves. It begins at the opening of the Swansea Valley and covers 17km into the Black Mountain.
The Llangorse Multi-Activity Centre is another popular attraction. It features zip slides, play areas, an indoor climbing centre, horse riding, and much more. Llangorse Lake is situated close by. It is a hub for sailors and wildlife enthusiasts.
For an adrenaline rush, take a trip on the Brecon Mountain Railway. It has observation coaches which showcase beautiful scenery along the way. You can also visit workshops and see ancient steam locomotives being repaired.
